2020 Backer Swag Packaging Complete!
Swag packs are complete for those who backed the $250 "Signed Leatherbound + Swag" tier. The final packages in this shipment should be sent to USPS tomorrow.
This will complete all reward shipments for all backers of 2020 tiers!
2021 Tier 6 Swag Packages Begin!
Addresses are being exported to our shipping software for 2021 Tier 6. The first packages for those who backed the $500 "Signed & Numbered Leatherbound 2021" and the $500 "Signed & NOT Numbered Leatherbound 2021" tiers will ship tomorrow or Friday. We expect this shipping wave will take a few days to process.
2021 Tier 3 Swag Packages Are Next
We will begin shipping swag to those who backed the $200 "Signed Leatherbound Only 2021" tier after we complete our current wave. We will post an update when that occurs.
Addresses for leatherbound deliveries are being exported to our shipping software for those who backed the $500 "Signed & NOT Numbered Leatherbound 2021" and the $200 "Signed Leatherbound Only 2021" tiers. These will begin shipping directly from the bindery this week. Note: 2021 Numbered leatherbound books are still in production and are not ready to ship yet.
The bindery is still producing these leatherbounds, but we have enough completed to start fulfilling shipments for these two tiers. This process takes time, and we ask for your patience as we work with the bindery to get all books shipped out as quickly as possible. We will keep you updated as each tier begins shipping.
Timeline Reminder
We expect to have all rewards from this campaign shipped to all backers by the end of August 2021. If for any reason we find that this will not be possible, we will let you know.
THANK YOU To Our Amazing Volunteers!
Every Wednesday and Thursday evening a group of 15+ volunteers visit our warehouse and help us out for about three hours. We never would have made it this far without the help of these wonderful people!
A couple highlights:
On Saturday, May 15th, we did an all-day volunteer event. Throughout the day (13 hours!) we had nearly 30 volunteers assisting us in various shifts and were able to package 2,000 shipments.
On Thursday, May 27th, we had about 30 volunteers assemble 800+ shipments in only three hours.
We want to publicly acknowledge these selfless and dependable individuals and extend our sincere gratitude for their help.

Welcome New Team Members!
After this incredible help from our volunteers, we decided it was necessary to hire new team members for the summer months to assist more fully in finishing up Kickstarter fulfillment and the aftermath of all the projects we have going on right now. We will still use volunteers two nights a week, but we found we needed some extra help during the days and the other nights.
Please welcome the following individuals (most pulled from the ranks of our volunteers) to Team Silverlight: Taska, Aurora, Emmy, Camilla, Jeffrey, Pablo, Jacob, Matthew, Hanna, Sean, Ally, Erika, Brett, and Joy.
They will be joining Kara, Mem, Lex, Michael, Christi, Kathy, Kellyn, Isabel, Alex, Tori, and Hazel in working to package and ship your rewards to you!

2020 Tier 5 Swag Packages Begin Shipping Monday!
Addresses are being exported now, a process that will take all day. The first packages for those who backed the $250 "Signed Leatherbound Plus" tier will ship on Monday. This is the largest single tier, and will take more work to fulfill than any other. We expect this shipping wave will take a week or two to process.
2021 Tier 6 Swag Packages Are Next

The final packages in this shipment should be sent to USPS tomorrow, and tracking number emails will be sent then. This will complete all your rewards!

The Stormlight playing cards are here! These cards, designed by Rebecca Sorge Jensen and printed by the United States Playing Card Company, are everything we hoped for and more. We keep saying it as every reward arrives, but we are very pleased with the final product and know you will be as well.

What’s Next?
Today we begin shipping swag bundles to the 2020 Tier 6 backers. We will try to update you on which tier we are currently shipping, but each tier could take a few weeks to complete. We will do our best to get through all these shipments as fast as we can—however, many of these shipments are custom orders with extra add-ons so they take more time to package. Our goal is to have all swag shipments sent out by the middle of July, but until we know how quickly we can get packages out the door we will keep our timeline expectations for swag to ship by the end of August.
Leatherbound Update
The 2021 The Way of Kings Leatherbounds are marginally delayed, and are currently expected to ship starting in June rather than May as previously announced. We hope this will not extend the shipping window, and still plan to deliver all shipments to the carriers by the end of August.

Shipping Address Updates
We will be locking all shipping addresses in BackerKit by the end of May. Please be certain that your address is correct in BackerKit. If it is not, please contact us if you need to change your shipping address.
IMPORTANT: At this time and going forward, please contact us to change your address rather than updating it yourself. When we begin a wave of shipments, we pull all applicable shipping addresses into our shipping software. Once that is done, updates to BackerKit will not update on our side unless you tell us and we manually change it in our shipping system as well. This affected several backers’ shipments in our recent wave, and we want to be certain everyone receives their rewards!
