Words of Radiance Leatherbound Campaign Now Live!

You backed our campaign for the leatherbound edition of The Way of Kings, book 1 of The Stormlight Archive. We are pleased to announce that book 2, Words of Radiance, is getting its own leatherbound treatment—and that campaign is live right now! This new leatherbound will have the same base color, slipcase, and quality genuine leather as The Way of Kings.
And like our campaign for The Way of Kings, our new campaign has so much more than just a leatherbound book.
Here is a small preview of available rewards:
Words of Radiance signed leatherbound edition book—with or without any swag or other rewards.
Knights Radiant swag themed around each order’s spren, including: pin, challenge coin, charm, decal, banner, and even optional plushies (available as add-ons).
Backer swag, including: spren-themed playing cards, backer pin, epic bookmark, drink coasters, and a special coin.
A new secret project: Just like our last campaign, this includes a premium hardcover (with accompanying pin, sticker, and bookmark), ebook, and/or audiobook of a new full-length novel. At the moment, all we will say about this is that if you are a fan of the Cosmere, you’ll want to read this book.

We are closing in on the end of 2023 and we could not be more excited for the coming year. Since you supported our very first campaign for the Way of Kings leatherbound, we wanted to make you aware of our recently announced crowdfunding campaign for the next installment of the Stormlight Archive, set to launch March 5, 2024! Leatherbound copies of Words of Radiance are already in our warehouse and are absolutely stunning. We’ll be revealing more about these books, showcasing brand new Stormlight merchandise, and streaming with Brandon all on BackerKit!

NEW Stormlight Adjacent Book Available in Current Kickstarter Campaign

For those not aware, Brandon wrote four new novels in secret during 2020 and 2021. These "Secret Project" books are being published through our newest Kickstarter campaign. We have just one week left before the campaign ends on March 31, so get your pledges in now! You can pre-order these books in ebook, audiobook, and/or a collectible premium hardcover format.
While Brandon is doing his best to allow those so inclined to remain spoiler free for these books, he announced today that Secret Project #4 is Stormlight adjacent! The protagonist is a character from the Stormlight Archive who has not yet had their story told.

We are so grateful that you joined us on this wonderful journey. This is a bittersweet destination to reach. Thank you for your enthusiasm, your excitement, your kindness and support of each other, and all the posts and pictures of your rewards in use. We will miss (for now) all the great interactions we have had during this campaign.
Shipping Complete
All your rewards have been packed, labeled, and shipped out the door. While some of the final packages are still in transit, most of you have already received all your rewards. Many of the rewards are now available on our webstore, and new purchases of The Way of Kings 10th Anniversary Leatherbound Edition will soon be available for pre-order as well. Watch our social media (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram) for upcoming announcements, updates, new product releases, and future restock of our leatherbound titles.
What if I haven’t received my rewards yet?
Please check your spam or junk email folders! We’ve had a number of packages returned due to various reasons. We have emailed those customers and are waiting for replies to many of those emails. Please be sure to reply to us if we reach out so we can get your rewards to you!
Check with your postal carrier. Please reach out to your local carrier (if you received a USPS tracking number) or FedEx (if you received a FedEx tracking number) to address the issue with them.
If all else fails, please reach out to us directly, not through Kickstarter. If you have previously submitted a ticket and did not receive a reply, please check your spam or junk email folder. Please also be certain that your email is correct. You should receive an automated email as soon as your ticket is created. If you did not receive this email, you may have incorrectly entered your email address. In rare cases, your email service may be blocking our email replies. If you have not received either an automated email or a reply from us, open a new ticket after two weeks using a different email address from a different service provider, if you have one.
What is next?
This November we will be hosting our recently announced Dragonsteel Mini-Con, which includes the release party for Brandon’s newest novel, Cytonic. In the longer term, Brandon is still writing. We are looking forward to many more books, swag, conventions, and fun surprises. We may have reached this destination, but stay tuned for our next journey!

Leatherbound Book Update
All Tier 6 NUMBERED leatherbound books have shipped! Remaining leatherbound shipments have stalled briefly due to production delays, but will resume soon. However, this does push reward fulfillment later than predicted. We now anticipate all remaining leatherbound books to be shipped during September and possibly into early October.
If you have not yet received a shipping notification for your leatherbound book, please be patient! Your book is in queue.
The Way of Kings Prime Audiobook
We are pleased to announce that the audiobook version of The Way of Kings Prime is available to stream in its entirety via Brandon’s YouTube channel. You may also download it for free in either MP3 or M4B chapterized file format from our webstore. This is a very large download via a throttled distributor, so the file will download slowly. Please be certain of a stable internet connection before beginning this download.
Note: The audiobook files were initially missing a large portion of Chapter 66. This has been corrected as of Aug 20, 2021 at 9pm MDT.
Kickstarter Reward Swag Available for General Purchase
All rewards other than the final leatherbound books have shipped! This means we have now put most rewards on our store! The challenge coins, patches, and pins are available individually or in “All Orders'' packs, as well as the Stormlight playing cards, bumper stickers, epic bookmarks, and more.
I’m Still Missing Some Rewards
If there are any rewards you have not yet received (other than the leatherbound books, which are still being processed and shipped, as we mentioned above), please check the following before contacting us:
Did you receive and fill out the backer survey we emailed? Check your spam/junk email folder for the survey, or go to the BackerKit page for our campaign to request a new survey. If you used your AppleID to log in to Kickstarter, we do not have your email address. Please open a ticket with us and include your Kickstarter backer number and your correct email address.
Did you fill out your backer survey recently? We will regularly go through new surveys and ship rewards, but we do this in groups and you may need to wait several weeks before your rewards are shipped to you.
Have you moved? We may have tried to ship your rewards to your old address—even if you updated it in BackerKit (after your address was locked). When we receive a returned package, we email you to request confirmation of your shipping address. Please check your spam/junk email folder to see if our attempt to contact you may have been missed.
Do you require international shipping? International shipping occasionally experiences significant delays. Once a package has left our warehouse, we are unable to do anything about it beyond tracking it through the same tracking number you received. Please be patient, and let us know if the tracking has not updated for more than two months.
Have we already shipped your reward? If your reward has been returned to us, we email you to request confirmation of your shipping address. Please check your spam/junk email folder to see if our attempt to contact you may have been missed. If your tracking number has not updated for more than a month (two months for international shipments), please open a ticket with us.
